Practical, gently arranged
Bus 309 from Balloch railway station to Balmaha (40 min). Balloch is a direct train from Glasgow Queen Street.
Oak Tree Inn at Balmaha for a Scottish-pub night. Wild camping is allowed under the Loch Lomond byelaws — check zones.
Short, well-marked, and one of the most rewarding ratios of effort to view in Scotland. Carry midge repellent in summer.
