What is the Soul Signature?

The Soul Signature is a four-dimensional score — Soul, Serenity, Regenerative feel, and Joy & Beauty — combined with Family-Friendliness. It is our way of describing what a trail feels like, not only how far or steep it is. Every score is calibrated against more than 175 walks worldwide.

Are GPX downloads free?

Yes. Every route page offers a free, foot-routed GPX for what it publishes: the full itinerary where it is published, otherwise the listed day highlights, each as its own file plus one combined highlights file. We do not charge for downloads, and we do not hide waypoints behind a paywall.

Will the routes work offline?

Yes. The GPX files are designed to be saved to your phone before you leave. Once loaded into a mapping app such as OsmAnd, Komoot, AllTrails, Gaia GPS, or Garmin, they work without mobile signal. We also provide a one-tap trailhead link for Google or Apple Maps when you do have signal.

Which devices and apps open the GPX files?

The files are standard GPX 1.1 tracks with waypoints. They open on Garmin, Suunto, Coros, Apple Watch, Komoot, AllTrails, Gaia GPS, OsmAnd, Strava, and any app that reads GPX. If a route is under review, the download button is replaced by a clear notice until the track is verified.

How accurate are the routes?

We trace every route on real hiking paths using OpenStreetMap footways, verified landmarks, and Copernicus elevation data. Routes that cannot yet be verified to our standard are placed under review and hidden from download until they are corrected.

What is the PureSoul Family?

Is PureSoul Hiking a navigation app or a tour operator?

Neither. We do not give spoken turn-by-turn directions, and we do not sell tours, flights or packages. PureSoul Hiking helps you find, plan and export a trail — then you walk it with the map app and the beds you choose yourself. Stay links are clearly marked when they are affiliate links.
